Upfront Pricing, Professional Drivers, Reliable Service
In a recent change of policy, San Francisco International Airport implemented a new pickup system for all ride-hail services including Uber and Lyft. SFO, starting on June 5th, relocated all domestic ride-hail pick-ups to their hourly parking garage. This new policy prevents ride-hail services like Uber and Lyft from pickup people up curbside outside of their terminals.
As a result, riders are reporting waits of 45 minutes a more to get their ride and even another 30 minutes or more to leave the airport. This has become a massive hassle for tired and weary travelers
Because of this policy change at SFO, there have been some common questions, which we wanted to help answer.
Yes! SuperShuttle of San Fransico is still providing our travelers with curbside pick at SFO. We are not affected by the policy change for rail-hail and will continue to pick up and drop off curbside at SFO.
Skip the hassles, long waits, and inconvenient pickup locations of those ride-hail services and choose a rideshare or non-stop airport shuttle ride with SuperShuttle with pick curbside pickup.
Both SuperShuttle rideshares, and non-stop shuttles will continue to pick up travelers curbside at their terminals. SuperShuttle's black car service can also pick up curbside or meet you at baggage claim.
While waits for Ubers and Lyfts are reported to be exceeding 40 minutes for pickup, wait times for SuperShuttle are continuing to be on time. Some travelers are reporting shorter waits for pickup with SuperShuttle since Uber and Lyft drivers aren't causing traffic jams in arrival pickup areas.
If you have more questions about pickups and dropoffs at SFO, want to get a rate fare, or want to book a ride, contact the local SuperShuttle team serving travelers too and from San Francisco International Airport.
